Mosley vs Cotto

On November 10th 2007, veteran Sugar Shane Mosley will take on Puerto Rican Superstar Miguel Cotto for Cotto’s WBA Welter Weight Title. This is one for the fans, although many would rather see Mosley take on pound for pound champ Floyd Mayweather Jr, the fight with Cotto still has the potential to make a huge impact in what many are calling a dying sport (boxing). I for one, am very excited about this fight (among many other to come in late 2007). Miguel Cotto is a wrecking ball in the 147lb division, he seems to be getting better and better while Sugar stands as a fighter who has seen better days. I personally had the opportunity to meet Mosley once while I was working at Subway, about 4 yrs ago. He’s a very cool person, with a humble attitude and great personality, and he’s been a great champion. As for Cotto…..WOW!!!, this guy comes to fight, willing to leave it all in the ring and expose himself to claim the spotlight and step out of the ring the same way he came in – as CHAMPION.
